Gilda’s Tryst was at London Fashion Wend in Somerset House the last weekend of February, so we thought it would be nice to share a little bit of the behind the scenes as we build open for the opening…
The night before (Wednesday 22nd February late): We pull together all our pieces: one-off development samples, gorgeous gemstone jewellery and lots of silky sparkly clutch bags. We arrive to set up at Somerset House the night before it opens – it feels quite lonely!
Thursday 23rd February 15h00: we attend to the last details and our stand is finally set:
16h30: Shireen briefing our lovely Gilda’s Tryst ladies, who will be working London Fashion Weekend over the next few days…
16h55: Excited people queuing to enter
17h: “We have the pleasure to announce that LFWend 2012 is now open” – Time to shop for all the visitors.
Somerset House looked really nice, with all the lightings on.
